Central Library

In an effort by the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to intensify efforts in order to speed up the process of raising the level of services provided to the users at the university, and under the supervision of Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, the Joint Technical Committee, made up of members of the staff of the Central Library and Ibn Khaldun Library, and followed-up by Lect. Zeina Tariq, Official of the Continuing Education Division, the sorting, recording and cataloging of many modern books and theses, which were dedicated to Ibn Khaldun Library, were completed in accordance with the latest cataloging systems used in international universities. The books and theses were specialized for the colleges located in the University second campus in order to be ready for internal and external borrowing by the undergraduates and postgraduates as soon as possible.
