Within the plan of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to enhance the competence of the lecturers, students and employees in the University in updating their information by making the best use of the contents of the recent scientific and human publications, and under the supervision of Mr. Say Al-fAshqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, a delegation of some lecturers and fourth year undergraduates from the Department of Geography in the College of Basic Education visited the Central Library to be privy of the Library and its work and how to make use of books and periodicals in their researches and studies. Ms. Shatha Ahmad, Official of the Technical Procedures Division, commendably took the delegation in a tour in the Library’s divisions and units, describing in details many things of interest and answering their questions and inquiries. Finally, the delegation took an integrated picture of the library and its importance and appreciated the efforts made by the Library’s General Secretariat and the technical and administrative staff to provide the best services to the University students and researchers.
