Central Library

Pursuant to the directions of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to activate the wide-ranging joint scientific and cultural activities between the University and community, and under the supervision of Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, a group of teachers and sixth grade pupils/literary section from Al-Andalus Prep School for girls visited the Central Library within the program of the university day to be informed of the significant impact of the Library and books not only on preparing the student scientifically and culturally, but also on building a positive human being who serves his society and country properly. During the visit, a briefed scientific and historical explanation about the Library was presented to the pupils and all the questions raised by them were answered to form a perfect image about the Library as a significant scientific and cognitive milestone across the ages.
