To confirm the role of the University of Mosul in serving the society in all fields and highlight the intellectual and cultural heritage of the City of Mosul and under the auspices and presence of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University, the Center for Mosul Studies held its seminar entitled (Mosul, the Capital of History) as a first activity of its first cultural season in the Hall of the Scientific and Literary Forum on Sunday morning,22/12/2019. It was attended by a number of academics and interested specialists. After that, an exhibition of Mosul heritage collections was opened. Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, attended the seminar and applauded its importance for the Center’s activities and the University by highlighting the topics that contribute to the building of the culture of society
