Two of the Central Library’s Teaching Staff Awarded a Participation Certificate from the Sociology Department
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha, University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, and a number of college deans and interested specialists, the Sociology Department of the College of Arts, in cooperation with the Common Denominator Foundation and with the support of IREX Organization, held the closing session of the project (Empowering Youth and Fighting Extremist Ideology) in the hall of the Scientific and Literary Forum on Monday morning, December 23, 2019. The session included the training of 145 lecturers from various colleges and centers of the University, including the Central Library. At the end of the session, Ms. Rawaa Salahuddin and Ms. Zina Tariq, lecturers in the Central Library, were awarded participation certificates by the Sociology Department in recognition of their active participation in this vital academic project. Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, expressed the importance of the participation of the library staff in the activities to acquire skills to build better abilities.
