Central Library

Based on the directives of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, that the University’s academic and scientific and cultural elites should have the most remarkable role in contributing to the efforts of reviving the University’s libraries by constantly supporting them with their intellectual and cognitive products. Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, received the academic and Islamic economic thinker Assist. Prof. Dr. Jassim Al-Faris. During the meeting, they talked about the importance of supporting the Central Library as it represents the academic information source for the University students and researchers and the necessity to activate its cultural and awareness role not for the University members only but also for the society. The Secretary-General expressed his great pleasure at this visit and appreciated the initiative of Dr. Jassim Al-Faris to donate copies of his latest works in the field of Islamic economy, history and literature, which will certainly constitute a qualitative addition to the Library’s shelves to serve students and researchers at the University
