In an effort by the University students to apply the vision of the University of Mosul headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady to correlate efforts of all its members and encourage the volunteer work of its students as a civilized university behavior. Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the university libraries, received a group of representatives of the Shabak Students Forum at the University. They organized a voluntary campaign to donate a collection of books and periodicals to the Central Library to meet the needs of their colleagues from the sources of academic information. The Secretary-General appreciated such voluntary efforts carried out by students at the University, which apply perfectly to the vision advocated by the University President. The students expressed their appreciation for the support and encouragement they have received from the University Presidency and the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, which are considered additional incentives to provide the best volunteer work to the University
