In accordance with the directives of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, to enhance the scientific activities and visits of the University departments and colleges, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, received a group of professors and third-year students from the Department of History of the College of Arts during their field visit to the library. Mr. Sayf welcomed the visitors and briefed them on the importance of the library to students and researchers in all colleges and departments of the University. He has also briefed them on the prospects of current and future cooperation between the General Secretariat of the University Libraries and the Department of History to achieve the mutual cognitive benefits for the two sides, which will undoubtedly be in the interest of the University scientific and research process. During the visit, he accompanied the visitors in a tour in the Library, giving them an intensive explanation about the Library work and the mechanism of borrowing. At last, the visitors appreciated the extraordinary efforts made by the Library’s General Secretariat and staff to improve the quality and level of services provided to the users, wishing them success and cooperation to ensure the progress of our long-established University and our dear country.
