This book, which runs to 82 pages, was written by an Iraqi Social Scientist, Dr. Ali Al-Wardi (1913 – 1995), and issued by Lila Publishing House (London: 2001). It is one of the most important and most famous books, which analyzes and conceptualizes the personality of the Iraqi individual according to the given sociological facts. It was written in an easy literary style, to make it easily comprehensible for the non-specialists and to get the reader acquainted with the specialized scientific analysis of the surrounding individual and social phenomena that the reader is always dealing with in his daily life. It is divided into two parts, the first one deals with the human personality in general, while the second one deals with the personality of the Iraqi individual in particular.
