In implementation of the directives of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, on the need to maintain information and knowledge networking with the local and international communities, the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, represented by Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, joins the WHO in celebrating the World Health Day on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. It is the day to celebrate the work of nurses and midwives and the critical role they play in keeping the world healthy. The WHO issued its nursing status report for the year 2020, calling for increased investment in the field of nursing and midwifery to achieve universal health-care coverage in 2030.It is noteworthy that the College of Nursing of the University of Mosul provides our country with nursing staff every year. On this occasion, blessings, congratulations and appreciation go to nurses and midwives in Iraq and all over the world for their medical services at this crucial stage in supporting the international efforts to combat the current Coronavirus Pandemic
