In the light of the vision of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, on the need to join efforts of optimizing digital space to prevent the effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, along with a large group of academics from the University of Mosul and Iraq, participated in the workshops of the project of the electronic education in Iraqi universities, supervised by a specialized ministerial team. The participants attended five workshops on different dates at the kind invitation of the organizer. The project aimed at enhancing the skills of university academics in the fields of e-learning. It is followed up by the Research and Development Department of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Iraqi universities to provide a positive educational environment to surmount the challenge of COVID-19 Pandemic and pool the international efforts to defeat the current deadly scourge.
