As directed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, to make use of national, regional and global occasions to consolidate the universal human values in enhancing joint action to confront COVID-19 Pandemic, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, General-Secretary of the University Libraries, and the library staff celebrate the Earth Day 2020 on Wednesday, 21 April to make use of this occasion to call for the maintenance of ecological balance and diversity that help minimize the risks of environmental pollution which can result in catastrophic health effects like the current pandemic that threatens mankind. We are all concerned and we must all work together to realize the goals of maintaining ecosystems and keep the world healthy by committing ourselves to UN and WHO resolutions to ensure a better future for humanity.
