The Library Shares in the Celebration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work
On the vision of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to participate effectively and keep pace with the world events to unify attitudes towards common global affairs and raise awareness in societies, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, General-Secretary of the University of Libraries, and the library staff share the international community in the celebration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. The International Labor Organization (ILO) promotes this annual day every year. This year it focuses on raising awareness of the importance of maintaining health and safety at work in the current circumstance in particular, where the world is witnessing the spread of the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is a great challenge that Governments, employers, workers are facing in order to keep safety and health. Workplaces can also be of vital importance to prevent outbreaks and control them through occupational safety and health measures that must be supplemented with the latest technological innovations to ensure safe and healthy working environment for all
