Periodically In an effort by the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to maintain the University workflow electronically during Mosul lockdown imposed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, chaired a weekly e- meeting that involved the officials of library divisions, through the virtual platform of Google Meet on Saturday, May 9, 2020. The agenda of e-meeting included weekly presentations on the progress of the technical and administrative works in the library divisions in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency. During the e-meeting, Mr. Sayf urged the library staff members to do their best in serving the university and its libraries, in particular, to surmount the challenges and difficulties during the current global health crisis represented by Coronavirus Pandemic, keep pace with the latest developments in the field of worldwide digital information and communication, keep the academic and cultural position of the Central Library and provide all kinds of knowledge for all the University students and researchers.
