Pursuant to the directions of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, to cope with the current global health crisis through adopting the digital alternative to communicate locally and globally for the good of the University and Iraq, and under the supervision and follow-up from Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, a large number of library staff members participated in electronic workshops conducted at the University of Mosul and other Iraqi universities and higher educational institutions to demonstrate to the world that the current COVID-19 pandemic will not hinder the University’s cultural and scientific progress and that difficult circumstances will be a catalyst for more creativity and development towards a prosperous future at all levels. The e-workshops participants have been ultimately granted e-certificates of participation.
