To embody the vision of the University President Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady to develop the University level in the field of distance learning, and under the supervision and follow-up from the Secretary-General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the Library has involved its members in the electronic workshops that were held in April and May by the University of Mosul, Iraqi universities and other international bodies to keep pace with developments in the digital world, which is considered an effective and suitable educational and informational alternative in the circumstance of lockdown imposed due to the Corona pandemic, to compensate for the critical shortage of information experienced by students and researchers at the University of Mosul in these unusual circumstances
