Meeting between the Central Library and the Digital Information Center
In the context of the scientific and cognitive cooperation between the University of Mosul and the Iraqi universities and the academic and cultural institutions, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar accompanied with Ms. Hiba Khairuddin and Dr. Ghada Abdulkarim participated in the meeting conducted by the representatives of the Digital Information Center of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine Library to make a brief presentation on the importance of the project of the Iraqi Digital Repository, online non-profit service, in collecting various electronic dissertations finished at the Iraqi universities and digitizing the paper dissertations to preserve them, become easily retrieved and be easily accessible for the users. At the end of the meeting, the cooperation between the Central Library and the Digital Information Center have been discussed to facilitate the access of the Central Library to this project to support the process of the scientific and technological progress and it was agreed to continue cooperation to achieve the objectives in common for the public good
