Complying with the directives of the University of Mosul headed Rector Kossay Al-Ahmady, to get the University work to the global level, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar chaired a weekly meeting with the officials of the Library divisions on Saturday, October 24, 2020 via Google Meet Platform. The meeting stressed that every effort should be made to achieve the University’s vision of overcoming the obstacles imposed by Corona through encouraging the Library staff’s creative ideas in the administrative and technical work, continuing to establish specialized electronic courses and workshops to serve the Libray users and introduce the world to the important role of the Library, opening up to the latest technology in the local and international libraries and cooperating and exchanging and information and experiences with them. The meeting also discussed many ideas and visions presented by the attendees to develop efficiency in work by adopting team spirit in providing services to the users locally and internationally and optimizing the universally adopted communication technologies
