In accordance with the directives of Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, to utilize digital technology to the maximum extent possible at the current juncture of the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar chaired a weekly virtual meeting with the officials of the Library divisions to discuss work process in the Central Library and its branches in line with the University’s vision which underscores digital communication with international and local academic and cultural institutions and making most of digitization during the prevailing conditions of the Corona Pandemic, taking into consideration the commitment to preventive health measures to maintain the permanence of administrative, cultural and cognitive activities, protect the University’s employees, teaching staff and students and keep them safe and healthy to keep our University and its libraries a destination for all lovers of culture and knowledge
