Central Library

As directed by the University of Mosul Rector, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, regarding the participation of the faculty in rebuilding the University institutions, which were damaged during the grinding battle to retake the city of Mosul from ISIS, which wreaked havoc on the city and the University in particular, and under the follow-up from Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries, Dr. Ahmad Hamid Al-Abadi, a retired faculty member, College of Tourism Sciences, University of Mosul, contributed to giving the Central Library a collection of various books and journals of interest for students and researchers. The Library appreciated Dr. Ahmad for his initiative which is part of the University faculty’s contribution to restoring the former scientific and cultural status of our old-established Central Library to keep pace with the advanced and high-ranked global libraries
