Within the approach of the University of Mosul, headed by Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, to communicate with media channels to highlight the extraordinary efforts made to reconstruct the University buildings, and with a follow-up from Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary-General of the University Libraries, the UTV Channel visited the Central Library on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, to document all the efforts made by the University Presidency, library staff members and the local and global benevolent people and institutions to reconstruct, rehabilitate and revive our long-established Central Library which suffered from the destruction, sabotage, looting and burning carried out by ISIS, the enemies of humanity, in an attempt to wipe it out as it represents the University’s icon that has long been a beacon of culture and science for all students and researchers in our dear country`
