Al Aan TV Visits the Central Library
As part of the University of Mosul’s endeavor to communicate with the media to give an overview of the University members’ contributions to the efforts of reviving the University of Mosul and enabling it to catch up with international universities, and with a follow-up from the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, the Central Library welcomed Al Aan TV on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. The Channel’s mission was to highlight the extent of the Central Library’s catastrophic destruction, burning and looting caused by the terrorist ISIS. The TV Channel also shed light on the exceptional roles played by the University Presidency and the Library staff members with the support of many universities, academic institutions, and local and international cultural and academic figures to restore the previous position of the Central Library as one of the most notable beacons of science and knowledge in the University and the City of Mosul. The Central Library’s officials briefed the TV’s interviewer of the work in each division and unit and the services provided to the users to serve the scientific and research process in our dear country.
