Central Library

Within the University Presidency’s direction to open up to Iraqi and international academics and intellectuals, and with a follow-up from the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, the Central Library received (260) books and periodicals in various fields, in Arabic and English, presented as a gift by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Alhasso, former Secretary-General of the University Libraries, and Director of Alhasso Centre for Quantitative and Heritage Studies in London, as a contribution to supporting the Central Library with sources of information of interest to the library users to serve the Iraqi scientific and cultural career. Many thanks go to the professor for his great initiative to support the Library that he managed with love, loyalty and honesty for many years.
