In accordance with the directives of the General Secretariat of the University Libraries regarding constant maintenance of the library rare books and dissertations using the most modern international technical methods to meet the library users' need and to provide everything that would raise the scientific and cultural level at the University of Mosul, Ibn Khaldun Library carried out maintenance of the rare dissertations to protect them from the damages resulting from frequent use by the library users.
