Completion of the Central Library’s Training Course on (The importance of Internet and electronic mails )
Under the supervision of the General Secretariat of the University Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the Central Library’s Continuing Education Division, organized a three-day virtual training course on (The importance of Internet and electronic mails) which was managed electronically by Dr. Ghada Abdulkarim on August 10-12, 2021. During the course, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar and Dr. Ghada Abdulkarim gave full explanation about the The internet, its society, types of internet websites, uses of the internet, electronic directories, digital libraries , Specialist Databases , Electronic Theses & publications, and the search engines with its details of how to search on web, while the second day was devoted to email, how to create an email account, sending and receiving emails with attachments, replying to an email and how to forward it, how to change the settings of an email account, and then the security and privacy of an email in detail. The course was completed on the third day with an exam for the course attendees who were granted participation and examination passing certificates
