Central Library

In an effort by the supporters to enrich the University of Mosul Libraries with unique books, the Central Library received a book titled (Human Effort In Building The Place – The Old City Of Mosul – A Historical Approach And A Reviving Vision) written and donated by Prof. Dr. Jazil Abduljabbar Aljumard, Prof. Dr. Laith Muhammad Alta’aan, Professor of Antiquities Junaid Tawfiq Alfakhri, and Consulting Engineer Husniya Jerjis, to present a forward-looking vision for the reconstruction of old Mosul in a way that combines authenticity and modernity, and to show the mutual influence of the characteristics of the local people and place. The Central Library appreciates their initiative that contributes to rehabilitating the libraries at the University of Mosul.
