Seminar on the Visit to the TU-Dortmund Library within the RESI Support Project
In the presence and supervision of the Secretary-General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar , the Continuing Education Division at the Central Library conducted a seminar on the recent scientific visit paid by Ms. Zina Tareq Dahham and Mr. Mohammad Abid Qassim to the Library of the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany within the RESI Support Project to view the latest developments in the field of academic libraries. The officials of the library divisions who attended the discussion were given a detailed explanation about the information gained by the two lecturers during their visit to the library of TU-Dortmund, including the modern library departments, computerized systems and free access to information in addition to the information, strategy and planning courses they attended there. The benefits of this scientific visit will be a useful step for the Central Library at the University of Mosul on the path of modernity and progress to keep pace with international universities in the field of library technologies.
