Central Library

In line with the cooperative and coordination framework that has been confirmed by the University of Mosul, the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, and a number of officials of the library divisions and units received Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mustafa, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bassam Abdulhamid, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulfattah and Asst. Lect. Rasha Duraid supervising the visit of a group of students from the Management Information Systems Department of the College of Administration and Economics to the rehabilitated building of the Central Library in order for them to know about the significant library services. The visitors were given an overview about the history of the Central Library and its pioneering role in serving the students and researchers since its founding until it was destroyed, burned and looted by ISIS, mentioning the local and global efforts made after the liberation to rehabilitate and get it ready to play its vital role in serving science and culture at the University of Mosul.
