Central Library

Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary General of the University Libraries, received Dr. Ghazwan Yusuf Baho, Father of the Shaikhan Church in Nineveh Governorate and Professor of the Bible at the Babel College for Philosophy and Theology and Professor of Semitic Languages at the Pontifical Urban University in Rome, who visited the Central Library on the occasion of its reconstruction and the restoration of the cultural and scientific services it provides to students and researchers at the University of Mosul. During his visit, he appreciated the great efforts made by the President of the University of Mosul, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries, and the library staff members to restore life to this great scientific edifice, expressing his willingness and readiness to provide unlimited support to the Central Library in recognition of the services it provided to him when he was a student at the University of Mosul, from which he graduated in 1992. Moreover, he presented a collection of valuable linguistic and historical books to the Central Library, wishing it success in serving the science and culture in Iraq.
