Central Library

Under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Nabil Kadhem, and under the supervision of the University of Mosul’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, the Central Library hosted and participated in the First International Student Conference entitled “Sustainability … An Idea For Reconstruction and Development,” held by the University of Mosul within the project Rethink Science and Education in Iraq (RESI), and concluded on Thursday, March 10, 2022. The conference was participated by the representatives of the German TU Dortmund University, the Austrian University of Graz, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the UNESCO and the Dutch SPARK Organization, who appreciated the efforts made by the Central Library in hosting the conference, and expressed their great pleasure in reopening it to achieve its future aspirations in keeping pace with the world’s advanced academic libraries, and to open up and communicate with international academic communities. The Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, appreciated these generous initiatives made to support joint scientific cooperation for the service of humanity.
