Central Library

The General Secretariat of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, received Mr. Paolo Fontani, Head of the UNESCO Office in Iraq, and the accompanying delegation during their visit to the Central Library. Mr. Sayf took them on a tour inside the Central Library, mentioning the efforts made by the library staff members in reviving the Library under the auspices of Rector Al-Ahmady and in cooperation with the UNDP and the German and world supporters. The visitors were very impressed by the achievement of reviving the Central Library and promised to continue supporting it to provide its services to the library users.
