Prof. Dr. Kossay Al-Ahmady, President of the University of Mosul, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, and a number of university officials received His Excellency the President of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Abdullatif Rashid during his visit to the Central Library as part of his tour at the University of Mosul, accompanied by a number of ministers, Mr. Najm Aljuboori, Governor of Nineveh and a number of institutional officials. Mr. President was so impressed by the achievements made through the efforts of the library staff members and the local and international supporters, stressing the continued support and development of the University of Mosul and the Central Library in particular for the scientific and cultural base it represents, which has a significant impact on Iraq’s development.
