The Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar received the General Secretariat of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine’s delegation, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Dhuha Bashir, Dean of the College of Computer Sciences and Mathematics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Wisam Nimat, Dean of the College of Law, and a number of lecturers and administrative officials, who paid a visit to the Central Library and delivered a collection of various books donated by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine. The visit came within the activities of the “Prophet of Mercy” Festival held in Mosul by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine in cooperation with the University of Mosul. During the visit, Mr. Sayf thanked the delegation and gave them a glimpse of the Central Library and its services provided to its users. At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their admiration and appreciation for the efforts made to restore life to this cultural and scientific edifice
