The Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar received Dr. Tala Alkhalil, President of the voluntary Academy of Warriors in Basrah, which she established in 2015 to receive children with disabilities who suffer from cancer, Down syndrome, autism, deafness, muteness, developmental delay, speech impairment, intellectual disability, where they integrate together within the Academy’s classes, to learn computers, languages, arts, electronics and crafts with a focus on the creative side. During the visit, she was briefed on the services and materials of the Central Library. The visiting guest expressed her admiration for what has been accomplished and the importance of the continuous cooperation of the University of Mosul with local and international institutions to ensure the provision of the best knowledge services to the community
