As embodiment of the direction of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady to convey the scientific and cultural accomplishments of the University of Mosul, and on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of the UNITAR, a board identifying the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, as one of the positively influential figures in serving their societies, was displayed in the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, Geneva, together with other identifying boards, for his participation in the Institute’s training programs. The Secretary General expressed his appreciation for the trust and the initiative that demonstrates the importance of societies in supporting their individuals.
