Central Library

As part of Rector Alahmady’s efforts to promote library work, the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar attended a meeting conducted at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for members of the Ministerial Committee. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Sinan Husam Mahdi on behalf of the General Director of the Research and Development Department Prof. Dr. Lubna Khamis Mahdi in the presence of the Head of the Library and Informatics Development Division Prof. Marwan Abdulrazzaq and was attended by the rest of Ministerial Committee’s members to discuss supporting and developing Iraqi university libraries to provide their services to students and researchers to the fullest extent and at the latest international levels. It is worth noting that during the meeting, the role of the President of the University of Mosul in reviving the life of the Central Library to provide its services to library users was praised.
