Under the auspices of Rector Alahmady and under the supervision and presence of the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the official of the Central Library’s Continuing Education Division Ms. Saba Aljuboori organized a workshop on “Legal Protection for the Displaced and Refugees”. The workshop was conducted at the Central Library’s Ibn Khaldun Library Unit, and was presented by the Professor of the Public International Law Prof. Dr. Ziyad Abdulwahhab Alnu’aimi, College of Law, University of Mosul, to address the legal responsibility for providing all the necessities of life, including housing, food, education, and protection, for internally and externally displaced persons and refugees. Later, certificates of attendance were given to those who attended the workshop.
