In line with the persistent endeavors of the visionary Presidency of the University of Mosul to contribute to building a knowledge society, the Scientific Assistant President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Munir Salem, the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, and a number of the University officials and guests attended the Food Security Challenges Scientific Symposium held, under the auspices of Rector Alahmady, by the Center for Environmental Research, in cooperation with the Center for Dryland and Conservation Agriculture, at the Scientific and Literary Forum of the University of Mosul. During this significant scientific event, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar addressed the importance of such symposiums in spreading scientific awareness in Iraqi society for a more developed and prosperous future.
