Under the supervision of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the head of the Computerized Systems Division Ms. Heba Khairuddin, the head of the Computer Maintenance and Consulting Unit responsible for the Unified Automated Catalog at the Central Library and sub-libraries of the University of Mosul Asst. Lect. Mohammed Abid met with the Central Library Restoration Project Director Mr. Humam Talal with online presence of Mr. Anas from the UNESCO Iraq Office to discuss what was suggested and presented by the committee, in cooperation with the Computer Center, to provide the Central Library with the latest equipment and requirements for applying the Unified Automated Catalog which is a comprehensive electronic platform for communication and interaction between the Central Library and its users, and provides a number of important services that allow library visitors to benefit from and follow up on the services, book collections, and events offered by the Central Library according the directive of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the vision of the President of the University of Mosul.
