Within the University of Mosul cooperation with international universities, and during their visit to the University of Mosul, academics and postgraduate students from German universities included the University of Bonn Rhein of Applied Sciences, the University of Ernesen of Applied Sciences, the Technical University of Berlin, the Technical University of Brandburg, the Technical University of Darmstadt in addition to the American University of Beirut were received by the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, in the presence of the official of the German Corner Unit and a number of administrative officials, and was taken on a tour in the Central Library to be briefed on the events and activities conducted in it. During the visit, the Secretary General of the University of Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar mentioned the importance of the Central Library and the achievements that are being implemented by the efforts of its staff members and under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul. The visitors expressed their admiration for what was accomplished during this period, stressing to develop proposals that guarantee joint cooperation to achieve promising future projects that serve the community.
