Central Library

In an effort by the Alahmady-presided University of Mosul to maintain coordination and cooperation with United Nations organizations, the Secretary-General of the University Libraries, Mr. Saif Al-Ashqar, received a UNESCO Iraq Office team, mentioning the services provided by the Central Library under the supervision of the President of the University of Mosul and with the distinguished efforts of the library staff members, and commending the supportive efforts of the UNESCO Iraq Office team. The visiting team expressed their admiration for the library staff members dedication to the Central Library service, promising to continue modernizing the central library in accordance with the visions of UNESCO, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, and the supporting bodies.
