In line with the persistent endeavors of the Alahmady-presided University of Mosul to conduct courses and workshops that contribute to raising the scientific level of the University of Mosul members, and under the supervision and presence of the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, the Division of Continuing Education at the Central Library hosted a workshop on the theme “Principles of Plant Decoration, Arabic-Romanian Leafy Decorations” conducted by the Mosul Studies Center, in presence of its director Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Ahmed Alobaidi, to be delivered by Prof. Dr. Amer Abdullah Aljomayli and administered by Dr. Mohamed Nizar Aldabbagh on May 28-29, 2024. The course dealt with the beginning and development of Islamic plant decoration throughout history, with illustrative images of some leafy patterns of ornaments. later on, the course attendees will be rewarded certificates of attendance
