Central Library

In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady on developing the skills of library staff members, and under the supervision of the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, and within the UNESCO-adopted project of the restoration of the University of Mosul Library, a number of the Central Library staff members attended a course held by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Al-Fadl Center for the Maintenance and Preservation of Manuscript Heritage and Documentary Archives, the Abbas Shrine on manuscript restoration on July 21-30, 2024. The course dealt with the best ways of the restoration and protection of manuscripts and old delicate books.
