Central Library

In accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady on developing the skills of library staff members, and under the supervision and in the presence of the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, and within the Restoration of the University of Mosul Library Project funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation AICS and carried out by UNESCO in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Mosul, a number of library staff members attended the first training meeting on (Values of Structure and Roles of Libraries) held at the Central Library by UNESCO and Ulster University on the 5th of August, 2024. The training meeting highlighted the different library units, the various roles of library staff members, and the library skills needed to work effectively in academic libraries.
