Central Library

As directed by the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady to follow up the Central Library Restoration Project funded by UNESCO and supervised by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision and presence of the Secretary General of the University Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, a number of library staff members attended a training session conducted by the Director of the Central Library Restoration Project Mr. Humam Talal, Office of UNESCO Iraq and the Preservation, Digitization and Capacity-building Advisor Mr. Abdullah Ahmed, within the periodic training sessions held at the Central Library in cooperation with UNESCO, Ulster University, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and University of Mosul to raise the skills of the library members at the University of Mosul to keep pace with the latest global developments in the field of modernizing and digitizing libraries to ensure optimal use of modern library technology.
