Central Library

Under the directive of the Iraqi Prime Minister and the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Kossay Alahmady, and under supervision of the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, a group of the Central Library staff members, in cooperation with the Agricultural Division, University Presidency Office Affairs Department, involved in the plantation campaign by planting a variety of saplings and trees around the Central Library building at the University of Mosul on Thursday, October 24, 2024. The plantation will undoubtedly play a major role in softening and purifying the air and adding natural beauty, thus achieving environmental protection and sustainability of natural plant cover. It is worth noting that Mr. Sayf had previously participated in the tree-planting campaign a few days before his travel to Northern Ireland, United kingdom with the University of Mosul delegation headed by Rector Alahmady.
