Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Wahid Alibrahimi, and as part of the 16-day Campaign to Combat Violence against Women, and under the supervision and presence of the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries, Mr. Sayf Al-Ashqar, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Dr. Tha’er Ahmed Alsamman; the Head of Women’s Affairs Unit, Ms. Suha Mohamed Tayib; and the Central Library’s Liaison Member of Women’s Affairs Unit, Ms. Rawa Asem, the Central Library’s Continuing Education Division, in coordination with the Women’s Affairs Unit, hosted a workshop themed “Adoption of Live Sign Project for the Integration of Deaf Women into Society” on Monday, December 9, 2024. The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Manal Abduljabbar Alsammak, College of Administration and Economics, addressing the adoption of the live sign project using Artificial Intelligence programs to help deaf women integrate into society.
