Hosting a Course on How to Read Ottoman Documents, Yearbooks and Decrees
Under the auspices of the President of the University of Mosul Prof. Dr. Wahid Alibrahimi, the Central Library hosted a three-day course themed (How to Read Ottoman Documents, Yearbooks and Decrees) conducted by the Mosul Studies Center on February 9-11, 2025.
The course was delivered by Prof. Dr. Amer Abdullah Aljumaili, Asst. Prof. Dr. Oruba Jamil Mahmud, Mosul Studies Center; and Asst. Lect. Hasan Sadeq Ibrahim, Nineveh Directorate of Education.
A number of the Central Library staff members participated in the course. At the end of the course, the Mosul Studies Center presented a certificate of appreciation to the Secretary General of the University of Mosul Libraries Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasim for his attendance and efforts in hosting this course at the Central Library.
