Central Library

In line with the directives of the General Director of the University of Mosul Libraries, and as part of the efforts of the library staff members to enhance and develop the Central Library’s collection of materials, the Central Library implements an optimal selection and provision policy, in accordance with international standards, particularly those applied in most academic and university libraries. This policy involves selecting diverse information resources, including Arabic and foreign books, periodicals, and references. The Central Library has formed a competent working team to identify and select these sources in a major campaign to meet the needs of users of various library resources.
This effort comes within the framework of the Central Library’s vision to enhance its position as an integrated source of knowledge, supportive of scientific research and the requirements of the academic process, according to the latest international standards adopted in the development of library collections.
