The Director General of the University of Mosul Libraries Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jasim received a delegation of National Project for Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence during their visit to the Central Library as part of a tour aimed at strengthening cooperation with academic and cultural institutions in Nineveh following the declaration of Nineveh as a City of Peaceful Coexistence for 2025.
The delegation was provided with a comprehensive explanation of the significant developments in the Central Library and the unique projects being implemented to provide the best services to students and
researchers.
The delegation members was impressed with the remarkable progress made at the Central Library and the efforts made by of the library staff members to develop this academic institution.
During their visit, the delegation honored Dr. Mohammed Jasim a Peaceful Coexistence Shield for 2025 in recognition of his prominent role in supporting civil peace initiatives and spreading the culture of dialogue, highlighting the importance of continued cooperation between the National Project for Dialogue and Peaceful Coexistence and Nineveh’s educational and cultural institutions.
